ICBI

The Innovation Centre and Business Incubator(ICBI) is a facility created with the intention of supporting companies who are in the initial stages of their development and supporting the growth of the entrepreneurial and economic environment in the Prague region. ICBI provides young, evolving, and innovative companies with not only office and laboratory space to rent at favorable prices but also a range of additional business and administrative services which may help them overcome potential problems and achieve success on the market.

The Innovation Centre and Business Incubator project was prepared and realized by the consortium Technological Innovation Centre ČKD Prague (TIC ČKD Prague), whose members and founders are ČKD NOVÉ ENERGO, a.s., Technology Centere of the Academy of Science of the Czech Republic and Energieteam Consult GmbH.  This project, which was co-financed by the European Union, The Ministry for Regional Development and the Capital City of Prague in the framework of the Single Programming Document – Objective 2, led to an architecturally interesting building with modern facilities being constructed from an old factory hall in Prague 9 –Vysočany as an instrument for the development of enterprise in Prague. Other partners in the project are the Chamber of Commerce of the City of Prague, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technological University in Prague and the Municipal government of Prague 9.
